Spinach, fenugreek, coriander, and peas do well in winter (Nov–Feb). Tomato, brinjal, and chilli are best started in August–September for an October–November harvest. Avoid most crops in peak summer (May–Jun).
Dense fog (Dec–Jan) reduces light and increases fungal pressure. Keep foliage dry, avoid overhead watering, and apply potassium-based fertiliser to strengthen plant immunity. Transparent polythene sheets can act as a mini greenhouse.
February–March for summer crops (chilli, brinjal), and September–October for winter crops (tomato, spinach, peas). Starting in September gives you the most productive season before peak summer heat returns.
