The Full Picture

The Begonia Maculata is a cane begonia, meaning it grows on tall, bamboo-like stems that can get top-heavy and snap. It will eventually need a small bamboo stake for support. The golden rule for Begonias: they love humidity, but absolutely hate getting their leaves wet. Misting this plant will invite powdery mildew and fungal spots instantly. Use a pebble tray or humidifier instead.
