The Full Picture
The Fukien Tea is beautiful but dramatic. Because bonsai pots are so shallow, they hold very little water. If the soil dries out completely, the Carmona will immediately drop all its leaves in protest. Consistency is key. Water thoroughly as soon as the top half-inch of the bonsai soil feels dry, and keep it on a pebble tray to maintain high humidity around the foliage.
