The Pilea is highly phototropic, meaning all of its perfectly round leaves will aggressively reach toward the nearest window. If you don't rotate the pot, you'll end up with a plant that is completely bald on one side and heavy on the other. Give it a quarter-turn every time you water it to keep the central stem growing straight and the canopy looking like a perfect umbrella.
