This is often caused by inconsistent watering (both over and under-watering), low humidity, or sensitivity to fluoride, chlorine, and salts present in tap water, as well as over-fertilization.
Use filtered water, rainwater, or let tap water sit for 24 hours before use to allow chlorine to dissipate. Increase humidity around the plant by misting leaves regularly or placing the pot on a pebble tray filled with water. Adjust watering frequency to ensure the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out between waterings. If salt buildup is suspected, flush the soil thoroughly with clean water.
Ensure consistent watering practices, maintain moderate humidity, use appropriate water sources, and avoid excessive fertilization.
