Cancellation & refund policy
Last reviewed: 18 May 2026. We try to keep this short and plainspoken — if anything is unclear, write to support@terracefarming.in and we'll explain.
Order cancellation
- Before dispatch: Cancel any time from your Orders page for a full refund. No questions, no cancellation fee.
- After dispatch: If the package hasn't been delivered, refuse the delivery and the courier will return it. We refund the full amount once the package is back with the vendor.
- After delivery (damaged / wrong item): Raise a return within 7 days of delivery. We replace or refund. Perishables (live plants, seeds opened) and personalised items are exempt — see "Exceptions" below.
Subscription cancellation
- Cancel any time from Subscription settings. The current paid period continues until its end date — you keep access to Pro features until then.
- We do not auto-renew. Every renewal is a fresh, user-initiated payment.
- Mid-period cancellation does not pro-rate refund the unused portion — for that, write to support and we'll review case by case. Within the first 15 days of a new subscription you can request a full refund of the latest charge.
Refund timeline
Once we approve the refund, the money is sent back to your original payment method via Razorpay. RBI digital-payment rules give the upstream bank/wallet up to 5 working days from our authorisation — most reach you within 2–3.
Our SLA: Refund authorised within 2 working days of approving the cancellation/return. After that, the bank window of up to 5 working days applies — we don't control the bank leg but we'll chase Razorpay on your behalf if it slips.
Exceptions
We can't refund:
- Live plants delivered alive and healthy (raise a damaged-on- arrival claim within 24 hours with photos if not).
- Opened seed packets — quality cannot be re-verified.
- Personalised items (custom-printed labels, custom soil mixes made to your terrace specs).
- Digital products and expert consultations once delivered (a consultation is "delivered" when the agronomist sends their first written response).
How to raise a cancellation or refund request
- Open the order or subscription on your account page and tap "Cancel" / "Request refund."
- If the in-app flow doesn't fit your situation, email support@terracefarming.in with your order ID.
- Still unresolved after 7 working days? Escalate to the Grievance Officer — they acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days per IT Rules 2021.
