Report content

TerraceFarming hosts user-generated content (community posts, vendor listings, expert chats). If something on the platform looks unlawful or harmful, this is where to flag it. Last reviewed: 18 May 2026.

Urgent: child safety, imminent threat, self-harm

For imminent harm or child sexual abuse material (CSAM), please also contact Indian law-enforcement directly via 1098 (CHILDLINE India) or report at cybercrime.gov.in. Then email us at legal@terracefarming.in with the URL of the content so we can take it down within 36 hours per IT Rules 2021.

What can be reported

  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing
  • Misleading product claims (cure-all pesticides, fake organic certifications, false yield promises)
  • Copyright / trademark infringement on uploaded images
  • Spam, scams, phishing attempts
  • Privacy violations (someone shared your personal data)
  • Sexually explicit or non-consensual imagery
  • Child safety content (also report to authorities above)

How to report

  1. From the content itself: On any community post or vendor listing, tap the ⋯ menu → "Report." Tell us which category and add a sentence of context.
  2. By email: Write to legal@terracefarming.in with the URL of the content, the category, and any evidence (screenshots help).
  3. Court / government takedown order: Mail the signed order to the same address. We action valid orders within 36 hours per IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(2)(b).

What happens next

  • We acknowledge every report within 24 hours with a tracking ID.
  • Review by the Trust & Safety team within 72 hours for most reports. Imminent-harm reports are reviewed within hours.
  • Outcomes you'll get: action taken (content removed / account warned / account suspended), no action (with reason), or referred to a third party (e.g. trademark owner contacted).
  • Appeal: If you disagree with the outcome, escalate to the Grievance Officer. They are independent of the Trust & Safety reviewer and respond within 15 days per IT Rules 2021.
