How to get fruit from a dwarf mango tree?
Dwarf mango in a container needs a deliberate stress period to fruit. Reduce watering September–October (dry period). Feed with potassium nitrate (13:0:45) spray on leaves — this triggers flowering in most mango varieties. After flowers appear, resume normal watering. Avoid nitrogen feeding from September until fruit is set. Full sun is essential. Amrapali and Mallika are the most reliable container varieties. Expect fruit 3 years from a grafted plant.
