How to grow capsicum in containers?
Capsicum does well in 10–12-inch containers with 6–8 hours of sun. Sow seeds October–November in North India; transplant after 30 days. Use a well-draining mix of garden soil, cocopeat, and vermicompost. Avoid overwatering — root rot is the main killer. Feed phosphorus-rich fertiliser at flowering. Coloured varieties (red, yellow) take 30 extra days beyond green stage.
