Can I use LED lights to grow vegetables indoors?

Yes. Full-spectrum LEDs between 400–700 nm wavelength support photosynthesis. Use 20–40W per square foot of growing space. Leafy greens and herbs grow well entirely under LEDs. Fruiting crops need stronger LEDs (50W+) and longer runtimes — electricity cost may add up.
