How to treat alternaria blight?
Spray Mancozeb (2.5 g/litre) or iprodione at first sign of dark concentric ring lesions. Remove infected leaves. Maintain plant vigour with balanced fertilisation — nitrogen-stressed plants are most vulnerable. Alternaria blight worsens in warm, dry Indian weather followed by humidity.
