How to treat scale insects on citrus?
Scrape scales off with a soft toothbrush. Apply neem oil (5 ml + 1 ml soap per litre) or horticultural mineral oil spray every 10 days. Repeat for 3–4 applications. Scales thrive in dry Indian winters — inspect potted citrus monthly and treat at first sign.
