How to treat spider mites at home?

Spider mites thrive in hot, dry conditions — increase humidity around plants. Spray neem oil (5 ml/litre) on leaf undersides every 5 days. A strong water jet dislodges mites. Wettable sulphur (2 g/litre) is an effective miticide for severe infestations on Indian terraces.
