How to use tea waste in the garden?

Dry used tea leaves or tea bags in sun. Mix 1–2 teaspoons of dried tea waste into the top soil layer of pots weekly. Tea leaves improve soil aeration, add small amounts of nitrogen, and encourage earthworm activity in large containers. Avoid using masala chai waste with milk residue — it attracts ants and fungus gnats.
