What to grow in Pune in monsoon?

Pune monsoon (June–September) suits colocasia, cowpea, amaranth, ridge gourd, and bitter gourd. Pune's high rainfall (700+ mm) demands excellent drainage — elevate pots and use well-draining cocopeat mixes. Ginger and turmeric planted in June in large containers produce excellent yields by October.
