When to start brinjal seedlings in South India?

South India's warm climate allows two brinjal crops. Sow seeds in June–July for a September–December harvest, or sow in January for an April–June crop. Seedlings need 4–6 weeks in seed trays before transplanting to final containers. Pick the Pusa Kranti or Arka Nidhi varieties for container performance.
