How to acclimatize nursery plants to your terrace?

Place newly bought plants in 50% shade for 5–7 days. Water lightly and do not fertilise during this period. Gradually move to their final sun-exposure spot over the following week. Expect some leaf drop — normal stress response. Plants adapted to your terrace's microclimate grow noticeably faster after proper hardening off.
