How to grow aloe vera on a terrace?
Aloe vera thrives in neglect. Use a terracotta pot with excellent drainage — sandy soil mixed with coarse grit works best. Water only when soil is completely dry (every 2–3 weeks in winter, weekly in summer). Full sun preferred but tolerates partial shade. Propagate by separating pups from the mother plant and potting individually. Harvest gel from outer leaves of mature plants (3+ years old) for best potency.
