How to grow cabbage on a terrace?

Cabbage needs a 12–15-litre container and a cool growing season. Start seeds in nursery trays August–September (North India); transplant at 4-leaf stage. Varieties: Golden Acre (compact), Pusa Drumhead. Feed with nitrogen-rich fertiliser early, then switch to potassium as heads form. Cabbage loopers and aphids are common — spray neem oil weekly. Heads are ready when firm to the press, usually 70–90 days after transplanting.
