How to grow dhania (coriander) in summer?
Coriander bolts fast in Indian summers, but the season can be extended. Use shade cloth (30–50% shade) to reduce heat stress. Sow densely and harvest young — cut entire plants at 15–20 cm before they bolt. Choose heat-tolerant varieties: Pusa Swarnim, CO-3. Sow new seeds every 2 weeks for continuous supply. Water twice daily. Expect a shorter cycle in summer (15–20 days) versus winter (30–40 days).
