How to grow mustard greens at home?
Mustard greens (sarson saag) are a fast cool-season crop. Sow October–January directly in a container at least 6 inches deep. Broadcast seeds thinly and thin to 3 inches apart. Water every 2 days. Ready to harvest in 25–35 days. Use cut-and-come-again harvesting. Both leaves and young seed pods are edible. In Punjab and UP, Pusa Mustard 30 and Varuna are popular. Grows well even in partial shade.
