How to grow parsley in a pot?

Parsley is slow to germinate (14–21 days) — soak seeds overnight to speed things up. Use a 6–8-inch pot with moisture-retaining, well-draining soil. Sow October–February for best results in India. Parsley tolerates partial shade. Water regularly. Harvest outer stems from the base, never more than a third of the plant at once. Flat-leaf (Italian) parsley is more flavourful and heat-tolerant than curly varieties for Indian conditions.
