How to prepare a terrace garden for monsoon?
Before monsoon: clear terrace drains and floor gutters, drill extra holes in containers, add fresh compost to depleted soil, stake tall tomato and gourd plants firmly, and apply copper-based fungicide as a preventive. Move fragile pots under a shelter or awning to protect from storm-force rains.
