How to revive a terrace garden after monsoon?

Post-monsoon revival in September–October: remove waterlogged or dead plants, loosen compacted soil and add fresh compost, apply a balanced NPK fertiliser to nutrient-depleted containers, prune overgrown and leggy plants, and treat any fungal or root-rot issues with copper or neem before planting rabi crops.
