How to revitalize old potting mix?

Remove old roots and debris. Spread mix on a tarpaulin in direct sun for 3–4 days to kill pathogens. Mix in 30% fresh compost, one handful of neem cake, and soak with 10 ml Trichoderma solution per litre of water. Let rest 7 days. This recovers 80% of original mix quality cheaply.
