How to build a raised bed on a terrace?

Use 15 cm deep wooden planks, HDPE food-grade containers, or galvanised iron sheets. Line with geofabric, fill with lightweight potting mix (cocopeat + compost + perlite). Keep depth 20–30 cm for roots. Check terrace load bearing before filling — wet soil is heavy.
