How to save chilli plants from frost in North India?

Move pots indoors or under a covered verandah when temperature drops below 5 °C. Drape plants with old cotton dupatta or horticultural fleece overnight. Spray 0.5% potassium sulphate solution two weeks before expected frost to harden cell walls. Resume normal care once minimum temperature stays above 10 °C.
