When to sow chilli seeds in North India?

Best window: sow chilli seeds in late January or February indoors at 25–30°C. Germination takes 10–15 days. Transplant 6–8 week-old seedlings outdoors in March–April. Alternatively sow in July for a monsoon crop. Avoid sowing October–December — cold slows germination drastically and seedlings grow poorly below 15°C.
