How to treat root rot in container plants?

Remove the plant, trim brown mushy roots with sterilised scissors, and dip in a Trichoderma solution. Repot in fresh, well-draining mix. Let soil dry before watering again. Add 20% perlite to improve drainage. Caused by overwatering or blocked drainage holes.
