How to make vermicompost at home?

Set up a ventilated wooden or plastic bin with coir bedding. Add Eisenia fetida worms (available at agri shops) and feed vegetable scraps daily. Avoid citrus and onion. Castings are ready in 30–45 days — richer than regular compost.
