What is the white powder on cucumber plants?

White powdery coating is powdery mildew caused by Erysiphe cichoracearum. It thrives in warm, humid conditions common in Indian summers and monsoon. Spray a mix of 1 tsp baking soda + 5 ml neem oil per litre of water. Remove badly infected leaves and improve airflow around plants.
