Is eggshell powder good for plants?

Yes. Eggshells are 95% calcium carbonate — excellent for preventing blossom-end rot in tomatoes and peppers. Dry shells in sun, grind to powder, and mix 1 tablespoon per litre of potting mix. Calcium strengthens cell walls and improves fruit quality. Works best in slightly acidic container soil where calcium leaches quickly with watering.
