When does pomegranate fruit in India?

Pomegranate blooms March–April and fruits ripen August–October in most of India. Container plants take 2–3 years to bear heavily. A light second bloom can occur in June–July in warmer regions. To encourage flowering, withhold water for 2–3 weeks in late February, then resume with a potash-rich liquid feed.
