Why is my brinjal plant not producing?

Brinjal flower drop is caused by: temperatures above 40°C (common May–June); shoot and fruit borer infestation (check for wilting growing tips — cut and discard); potassium deficiency; or overwatering causing root stress. Identify the cause first. Treat borers with neem-based spray. Switch to potassium fertiliser. Ensure consistent but not excessive watering. Brinjal resumes fruiting once temperatures moderate in September–October.
