How to care for a rose plant on a terrace?

Rose care on Indian terraces follows a seasonal rhythm. Water daily in summer, every 2 days in winter. Feed with NPK 19:19:19 monthly and rose fertiliser fortnightly during flowering. Deadhead spent flowers to trigger new blooms. Main pruning in mid-October: cut all stems back to 30 cm. Apply neem oil weekly for black spot and aphids. In peak summer (May–June), protect from afternoon sun to prevent bud blast.
