How to grow carrots in pots?
Carrots need deep containers — minimum 12 inches for Nantes types, 15 inches for Desi long varieties. Use loose, stone-free cocopeat-soil mix. Sow seeds October–January in North India. Thin to 2 inches apart after germination. Water evenly to prevent forking. Varieties suited for pots: Nantes, Pusa Kesar. Expect harvest in 70–80 days. Pull one test carrot first before harvesting the whole batch.
