How to grow spring onions in pots?
Spring onions are one of the easiest crops for beginners. Plant bulbs or regrow from kitchen scraps — place root ends in 2 cm of water until shoots appear, then pot in soil. Use a container 6–8 inches deep. Sow seeds October–March. Water regularly but ensure drainage. Harvest by cutting tops, leaving roots intact for regrowth. Three cycles of regrowth are typical per planting.
