How to grow guava from seed at home?

Guava seeds germinate readily in 2–3 weeks when sown fresh. Extract seeds from ripe fruit, wash, and sow 1 cm deep in moist seedling mix. Keep warm (25°C+). Transplant when 10 cm tall. Seed-grown guava fruits in 3–4 years and may not match parent variety quality. Grafted L-49 or Thai White plants from a nursery fruit in 1–2 years with consistent quality. Seeds work well for rootstock production.
