How to grow pomegranate from cutting?
Pomegranate cuttings root easily. Take 20–25 cm semi-hardwood cuttings (pencil-thick) December–February. Remove lower leaves, dip cut end in rooting hormone powder, and insert in moist cocopeat. Keep in indirect light and maintain moisture. Roots form in 4–6 weeks. New plants from cuttings inherit all parent traits and may fruit within 2–3 years, versus 5–6 years for seed-grown plants.
