How to propagate hibiscus from cuttings?

Hibiscus cuttings root easily in India. Take 10–15 cm semi-hardwood cuttings from new growth in February–March or August–September. Remove lower leaves, dip in rooting hormone gel or powder, and insert in moist cocopeat. Keep in indirect light, maintaining humidity by covering with a plastic bag. Roots appear in 3–4 weeks. Pot in well-draining soil and introduce to full sun gradually over 1–2 weeks.
