Is rice water good for plants?

Yes. Rice water contains starch, B vitamins, and phosphorus that feed beneficial soil bacteria and improve root health. Use only unsalted, room-temperature water from washing or boiling rice. Apply once weekly as a soil drench. Avoid storing rice water more than 24 hours in hot Indian weather as it ferments and may harm roots.
