How to use mustard cake (sarson ki khali) for plants?

Sarson ki khali has roughly 4–5% nitrogen, making it one of the best affordable organic nitrogen sources in India. Soak 50 grams in 1 litre of water for 48 hours, dilute 1:3, and apply as a soil drench monthly. Alternatively mix dry khali at 1 handful per 10 litres of potting mix before sowing.
