When to add fertilizer to container plants?

Begin feeding 3–4 weeks after sowing or potting once roots establish. Fertilise every 14 days during active growth (spring and monsoon). Reduce to monthly in winter. Always water before applying fertiliser to avoid root burn. Stop feeding 2 weeks before any planned repotting, pruning, or dormancy rest period.
