When to harvest radish?

Radish matures in 25–35 days in cool conditions. Check root size by gently brushing away surface soil — most varieties are perfect at 2–3 cm diameter. Harvest promptly; radish left too long becomes pithy, hollow, and very pungent. Mooli (white daikon) takes 45–60 days and grows large in deep containers.
