Why is my okra plant not growing?
Okra is a heat-lover — it stalls completely below 20°C. If your okra is barely growing, check the season first: okra sown before March or after September in North India will sit dormant. Waterlogged soil also stunts growth rapidly — ensure drainage holes are clear. Nitrogen deficiency (pale yellowing leaves) responds to a single application of urea or fish emulsion. Once temperatures exceed 25°C, okra growth accelerates noticeably.
